I am very grateful to have been given the opportunity and the responsibility to be a part of this decade old social-organization. Manav Seva Foundation is very close to my heart as it was started with a lot of sincerity and honesty by my father, Mr. Asim Chandra, the founder of this organization, only with a vision to give back to the society.
He himself coming from a small village of West Bengal, having to struggle a lot to reach where he is today, he very well understood the importance of that one opportunity a lot of people await in rural and poverty stricken areas.
We at Manav Seva Foundation believe in giving that missing opportunity to the several youth and women through our free skill development schools called ‘Aatmiya Trade Training Centers’ and our women empowerment projects under the project name of ‘Swavlambi’. Our objective is not just providing skill development, but to give them sustainable livelihood by opening up various employability options for them.
We are also active in the areas of sanitation drive under ‘Swachh Bharat Abhyan’ by coming up with a uniquely designed portable but affordable toilets for fast & practical solutions. There are many such projects undertaken and successfully executed by us.
We comprise of a group of committed professionals working hands-on like a professional organization but with the values and ethics of a non-profit. Values are something we all thrive on.
As a part of the Manavseva Foundation movement, the success and the true sense of making a difference lie in our belief that it takes only an honest thrive by a few groups of committed citizens to make a considerable amount of difference.
Come be a part of our mission.
